Overview

This qualification supports learners in becoming emergency first aiders in the workplace. It covers first-aider responsibilities, incident assessment, CPR, safe use of an AED, choking, external bleeding, hypovolaemic shock, and minor injuries.

Target Audience

Employees, supervisors, managers, designated first aiders, and others who need to provide effective emergency first aid and use an AED in the workplace.

Entry Requirements

Learners must be able to communicate in English and be physically capable of completing the practical assessment.
