OVERVIEW

  • The overall aim is to provide the delegates with the necessary knowledge, understanding, and proficiency to carry out their designated duties and help ensure safety during an event in accordance with international regulations. This course shall include demonstrations, role play, team exercises, and a written examination.
 
TARGET AUDIENCE
 
  • Professionals from public transport planning and operations departments
  • Professionals working for transport authorities and operators
  • Staff from security and safety companies
  • Other employees with a particular interest in crowd management
  • Organizers of:
    • events, both sporting and non-sporting, at football stadia and other sports grounds;
    • events at sites not designed for the purpose such as parks or industrial units, e.g. a fair on the town common or a public air-show on an airfield; and
    • events in streets or built-up areas, e.g. street fairs, carnival processions, and New Year celebrations.

PREREQUISITE

  • Candidate should be physically able to carry out procedures detailed in the course outline and must attend all the sessions to be eligible for certification.

COURSE OUTLINE
 

Our Event and Crowd Safety training course is designed for workers who may need to undertake monitoring of small-scale to mass-scale events. At the end of this course, candidates will be able to do the following:

METHOD OF TRAINING

 

Theory Session:Practical Session:
Will be conducted in the classroom using a Laptop, Projector, Screen, Whiteboard, and other relevant learning aids.Demonstration of emergence response, communication skills, and first aid in through a planned drill exercise at the site.
