SPILL PREVENTION AND RESPONSE PLAN

The spill prevention and response plan are designed to prevent spills and to allow for the proper responses to chemical spills and other emergency releases involving hazardous materials. For the purposes of this plan, “spill” refers to a release of hazardous materials, not simple liquid clean-up and potential slip hazards.

This is required for all undertakings involving the handling and storage of petroleum products or hazardous material. The spill preventative measures are the best means of avoiding accidental release of fuel which can adversely affect the environment. This plan is intended to prevent spills and, in the event of a spill, to minimize the impact of the spill on the environment. The purpose of this Spill Prevention and Response Plan is to Facilitate the prompt, efficient and safe clean-up of materials spilled during the construction and operational phases during the development; and Identify the reporting procedures in the event of a spill.
