OVERVIEW
The objective of this qualification is to support learners in becoming emergency first-aiders in the workplace. The qualification covers knowledge such as the roles and responsibilities of the first aider, and how to assess an incident. The qualification also covers first aid skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and assisting a casualty who is choking and dealing with external bleeding and hypovolemic shock, as well as how to provide first aid for minor injuries.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Individuals seeking to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to provide emergency first aid in the workplace, including employees, supervisors, managers, and designated first aiders across various industries and international settings.

Ability to communicate in English and being physically capable of completing the practical assessment
