OVERVIEW
The basic scaffolding training course aims to provide participants with the opportunity to become competent in applying the skills, knowledge, and attitudes associated with the safe erection and dismantling of scaffolding systems. It teaches the core skills of scaffolding and covers how to erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolding structures safely.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is designed for scaffolders who need to safely erect simple or complex scaffolding structures.
PREREQUISITES
- Not less than 21 years of age
- Medical Fitness
- Should not have a fear of heights
- Ability to climb scaffolding ladders up and down

COURSE OBJECTIVES

- Static Tower (2 lifts, including foot tie), and/or
- Nine Standard Birdcage Scaffolds (Two lifts, including foot tie) and/or
- Independent scaffolding (with return)
