Work on asbestos-containing materials which may result in high volumes of fiber release is considered high risk and require a licensed contractor. Most works on asbestos coating and asbestos lagging and work on asbestos insulation or asbestos insulating board (AIB) fall under the high-risk category. This training provides the necessary knowledge before planning to work in such an environment.
